Sharepoint Server Administrator Work Location: Frisco, TXShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the development and maintenance of ABSG Share Point MOSS environments, Active Directory and Server engineering. Uses knowledge of Microsoft and HP technologies to help design and implement internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates server technologies to eliminate and prevent problems and make further improvements. Requires at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Extensive knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Tasks include day-to-day operations, engineering, and architecture. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to a supervisor or manager. Experience and Education Requirements Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four (4) year Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements 1. Extensive knowledge and experience with the following:2. Hands-on technical development and maintenance in the Microsoft MOSS environment.3. Solid understanding Microsoft Server operating systems: Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003.4. A solid understanding of Microsoft Clustering (Windows 2000 and Windows 2003) in a SAN configuration. – configuration, management, and troubleshooting5. Full understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and how to implement and troubleshoot Group Policies.6. Experience with Microsoft DNS, DHCP, WINS and DFS.7. Experience with troubleshooting application problems, networking problems, and security problems.8. Be able to perform technical system integration, verification, validation, and supportability analysis for applications.9.
