Site Manager, new position to build division to next level
This new Site Manager of our client will report to the Executive Vice President, and President. Reporting to the General Manager position will include the following senior level leadership: Vice President of R&D, Vice President of Commercial Operations, Director of Finance and Administration, Senior Director of Regulatory and Quality Assurance, and Vice President of Operations. Total staff currently includes approximately 68 individuals. Person must have extensive life science, biotech, or biopharmaceutical industry experience! Key specific responsibilities of the Site Manager position are as follows: · Establish and achieve annual business and financial objectives location. · Provide leadership in setting the strategic growth plans for the business. · Assist department heads in establishing departmental goals that are in alignment with company’s goals and objectives. · Provide operational leadership and assistance to each department head in the company with final responsibility for the successful performance of each function within the company. · Provide leadership in assuring that all employees adhere to the company’s values of quality, innovation, customer focus, integrity, accountability, performance, and leadership.SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS WOULD INCLUDE: · Demonstrated track record of leading a successful business in a market regulated by quality systems such as required by CDRH, CBER, USDA, and ISO 9001:2000. · Solid scientific and technical experience in functions that interacted with research and development professionals at companies involved in diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, or other life sciences. · Demonstrated experience in supervising and motivating multiple functional departments in a small to medium size workforce. · At least five years of experience in a direct senior management role. · Strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal skills. · Master’s Degree or more in life sciences, preferable Ph.D. level degree.
