Position Description:

Work in a group of software developers and testers developing next generation state of the art genetic analysis systems. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Design, development and test application level software for a complex instrument• Responsible for design, implementation and integration of complex instrument control software, including architecture definition and enhancement. Full software life cycle responsibilities - from requirements definition to final test and integration• Interface with other functions to understand and translate customer requirements into working designs and applications. Responsible for requirements and design documentationEducation and Experience:• BS or MS degree or equivalent in EE, CE or other physical or engineering area• 10+ years in application software development• Analytical instrumentation or life sciences industry experience desirable• Experience with C/C++, MS Visual Studio, XML, SourceSafe, TFS. 5+ years with C#/.NET experience. Cross-complier experience desired• Strong OOA&D skills, proven track record of success in complex instrument system development; Experience in commercial full life cycle software development
