Job ID: 293Location: St. Louis, MODepartment: Customer Service IndustryEducation Required: Bachelors DegreeExperience Required: 3 - 5 YearsPosition Description: Training : a- For subs and distributors : - Create training modules according to the expressed needs : define objectives, length, programs, training documents and supports- Adapt training modules to trainees’ needs, product evolutions, and company strategy- Welcome the trainees and be present for them during the entire training session, animate as defined the training actions, either at the Training Centers or in the subs.- Control the training efficiency and the trainees results by testing their acquisition of knowledge through evaluations (either during or at the end of the training). Inform the trainees’ superiors of the results.- May be asked to audit the content of the training modules prepared by the other Application Specialists b- For end users :- Make sure subs have the proper educational skills and capacity to transmit the information received (training the trainers)- Create educational and training aids for subs and distributors to use when training customers 52 Technical support :- Provide second level support to subs and distributors, transmit the information to the concerned departments (Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance)- Make sure subs and distributors have up-to-date documents and tools. - Transmit expertise and inform of the different systems evolutions (GCS infos)53 Complaints :a- Complaint handling process :- Handle subs and distributors technical complaints : receive the complaints, register and handle them. Prepare and organise complaint follow up meetings. Analyse printouts, handle specific remarks, initiate investigations and follow up field preventive and corrective actions thanks to trend analyses- Write the complex technical information for GCS Infos and Field corrective actionsb- Complaints / Vigilance :- Follow reagents and systems performance through subs and distributors comments, compile potential files implying reports and inform QA/RA- Perform post market surveillance on the products of the concerned range using product investigations and trend analyses. Propose and launch, if needed, preventive or corrective actions (lot withdrawals, market suspensions…)- Compile the information relevant to the “vigilance” system and distribute it regularly (anticipate potential quality problems, R&D and GCS work closely together to communicate the investigations’ results in real time, feedback to manager of reports and department reviews)54Project :- Contribute to the success of new product launches by taking part in the product developments and by being the GCS representative for the whole or part of the range.- Synthesize and give feedback on product improvements for systems followed in Marketing and R&D- Responsible for the progress of the ongoing projects he/she has been given responsibility for at GCS level, responsible for the technical input of the Knowledge Center in the project teams, responsible for the respect by GCS of the planning55 Technical expertise :- Is the technical reference on his/her product range for : o KC members (training, tutelage, distribution of information…) o Other global functions (R&D, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs…) 56 Management :- Represent the System Manager during his/her absence or serve as System Manager designee and be responsible for the duties delegated to him/her in this situation - In link with the manager, contribute to the improvement and the evolution of the department’s organisation (procedures…) Position Requirements:- Biomedical and/or bioindustrial education - Good knowledge of bioMérieux (organisation, strategy…) and its customers (needs, markets…)- Perfect knowledge of bioMérieux reagents and instruments- Good knowledge of the scientific environment of these products- Good knowledge of the competition- Good educational skills, mastering of the training (animation…) techniques, good oral and written skills- Capacity to constantly learn new information- Good working knowledge of MS office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MOVEX- Flexibility, adaptability, availability, creativity- Good sense of priorities, capacity to synthesize, resistance to stress, exactness and precision- International minded: perfect knowledge of the English language, Spain is an option, capacity to organise trainings abroad.
