With a deep and broad pipeline of potential new medicines, we continue to advance science to serve patients.Responsibilities• Departmental Budget Tracking and Control• Initiative Coordination and Tracking• Records Archival and Upkeep• Service Contract Administration• Departmental Metrics and Effectiveness Determination • Business Capacity updates and evaluation• Documentation Management• Management and tracking of Departmental training records• Management of safety and lab cleanouts• Materials Purchasing• GMP Document Coordination:• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) Support.• Change Control Management System (CCMS) • Facilities Oversight – Controlled Access, Pest Control; Cleaning Logs• Performing special projects as requested.• Facilitating project communications (e.g. agendas, minutes, action items, documents, CRO information) to team members and management.• Applies knowledge and understanding of project needs, recognizing and escalating problems as needed.• Bachelor’s degree is required.• Three or more years of experience required. • Project management, facilitation, and presentation skills; working knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes and the ability to evaluate documentation and operations according to company and various guidelines.• Practical knowledge of project management software and spreadsheet skills, proficient computer operation.• Excellent people skills, teamwork, negotiation, and facilitation skills to energize teams and ensure collaboration and commitment.• Skilled in working efficiently and effectively in a team matrix environment.• Team player, self-starter, persistent, tactful, persuasive, independent worker.• Good organizational and time management skills.• Must possess persuasive skills and ability to influence without authority.• Effective verbal and written communication skills (formal documentation and presentations).• Ability to embrace Amgen values and small molecule development paradigm.Preferred Qualifications• MS degree preferred.• Three or more years of experience in the biotech/ pharmaceutical industry, small molecule experience is desired.
