Position Summary:

A high exposure and impact position where you will take charge of major clinical studies with one of a couple of drugs in Phase II development stages now that will then move into Phase III global studies next year.  Lead and direct both internal clinical operations team members and external CROs too.

Location:

Whitehouse Station, New Jersey area (this company is located in an area commutable from many NJ locations and Pennsylvania areas (e.g. Easton and Allentown areas)

 Responsibilities:

In a nutshell, initially you will manage the clinical operations activities for current and ongoing Phase II clinical studies and then get involved with the planning and running Phase III global studies.  You will also manage, lead and mentor internal staff assigned to your clinical study projects, and manage CROs too.

 

Requirements:

 Education: BA/BS degree in life sciences and an advanced degree is highly preferred.Experience: 5 or more years of progressive clinical operations experience gained working for a Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical Company and/or a CROCommunication skills: Very good communication skillsStudy Management experience: Experience planning and/or running clinical studiesTravel: Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed for non-monitoring clinical study activities (e.g. investigator meetings)
