The position of Senior Director of Operations, Prospective Health Services (PHS) has recently become available within RelayHealth. This position will manage and promote the overall vision, goals, objectives and strategies for the expansion of BPO service offerings for the existing comprehensive product line within the Prospective Health business unit. At Prospective Health Services, we empower our pharmacy, payer and managed care clients to centralize the control and management of their prescription benefit management processes. This position will serve as the key driver in developing our BPO presence in the marketplace. The successful candidate will ensure the division?s growth and profitability by bringing new clients to the Company and sales expansion to the existing customer base by successfully launching the BPO service as a strategic business solution to our prospects. Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager for PHS this individual will work closely with PHS and RelayHealth senior executives in considering the strategic and financial aspects of opportunities and in successfully bringing to closure all approved initiatives. Key Responsibilities:1. Establish and execute direction for PHS?s BPO strategy2. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that business development pursuits and are in sync with Company?s strategic priorities.3. Collaborate with Business Development and Product Management on the identification and market research of potential new market opportunities.4. Build business cases and financial models for business development projects under evaluation.5. Prepare & present presentations and white papers on key initiatives for executive-level audience.6. Cultivate positive relationships with customers through direct interaction and by achieving positive customer satisfaction results.7. Work with Legal team and other internal partners to negotiate and execute business partnerships. 8. Maintain thorough understanding of PHS?s strategic direction, asset portfolio, and organizational landscape to establish and facilitate collaborative relationships within PHS, RelayHealth and across McKesson.Location: Atlanta, GAMinimum Requirements

Thorough knowledge of and experience with the various functional areas that comprise the operational structure of a pharmacy benefits management organization, including transaction processing, benefit design, provider network development, rebate management, call center, formulary management, clinical services and mail service.10-12+ years operations and business development experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) & Pharmacy Benefit Administration (PBA) industry required. Pharmacy Managed Care experience required. 8-10+ years management experience required. Candidate must possess experience in the healthcare information technology industry. Demonstrated success in developing revenue through strategic partnerships and/or new product developments. A blend of business development / channel management and quota carrying sales environments required. Knowledge of business development strategies for PBM/PBA industry and sales territory management. Must also have skilled negotiation ability along with Conflict management, customer service skills and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects and business development events simultaneously. Ability to demonstrate consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle.Additional Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) & Pharmacy Benefit Administration (PBA) services, and business development practices and procedures. Ideal candidate must have an in-depth understanding of Company?s operations structure, and the Prospective Health system. NCPDP association preferred. Highly knowledgeable of all types of pharmacy services with emphasis on managed healthcare. Record of achievement in strategic planning. Candidate must be experienced in business strategy with the ability to identify and analyze market opportunities and develop appropriate business plans to address achieving the Company?s goals. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership skills, and analytical skills are essential to delivering results in this environment. Strong understanding of business models for the company in determining and delivering results with high impact to revenue and income goals. Team orientation is essential.Education

Bachelor?s degree in Business related field. MBA preferred in business or finance.Physical Requirements
