Sr. Human Resources Generalist
Provide full generalist responsibilities including management training, employee development, staffing, employee relations, and other HR related activities. This role is very hands-on with a heavy emphasis on recruiting and requires the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Work with hiring managers and the interview teams to create, manage, and execute the recruitment process, including the development of recruitment and sourcing strategy for each opening. Manage recruitment costs in line with budget by monitoring cost per hire as well as other costs. Responsible for all training initiatives for the company. Assess the need for manager and employee training; develops and conducts training programs or partners with training experts to outsource training. Provide employee relations support to managers and employees. Manage immigration process ensuring proper work authorization for all employees.
Qualifications:
Requires a BS in Human Resources, Business or other related field with 5+ years Generalist experience in a rapidly growing biotech, biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical HR team. Have solid sourcing techniques: direct sourcing, search engines, screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates for selection to the hiring manager. Working knowledge of Employment Law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc Ability to think both strategically and tactically with a focus on customer service. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be effective at all organizational levels. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Efficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint .
