Position Description:

Job Description:Automate the interfacing of data and business functionalities between multiple disparate enterprise business applications like ERP, BI, CRM and eCommerce system. Architect, design, develop, deploy, and sustain diverse Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Solutions and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Microsoft BizTalk 2006, C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server in a Windows Server environment.Tasks and responsibilities:• Develop loosely coupled and scalable integrations using Microsoft BizTalk 2006 and C# Web Services. • Deploy and configure integration solutions• Build Service Oriented and discoverable Web services using C# • Monitor and sustain existing EAI integrations and SOA architecture• Troubleshoot and resolve existing integration challenges• Collaborate with various cross functional teams to define and determine integration requirements• Contribute in evolving Illumina's EAI and SOA vision by implementing methodologies, and procedures conforming to standard patterns and practices• Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illumina's products, parts, and services• Perform other related tasks as requiredAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.Preferred educational background:• BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related fieldPreferred experiential background:• 3+ years of hands on experience in EAI and SOA design and development using .Net Framework, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, web services or any middleware • 2+ years of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004/2006 development experience• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework, Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and web technologies• Proficiency with XML, XML Schema, XPATH and SOAP is required• Must understand EAI design patterns, and Service Oriented Architecture concept • Exposure and experience with Microsoft BizTalk 2004/2006, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, ASP.NET 2.0 and EnterpriseOne ERP technologies/applications is plusPreferred Skills: • Strong analytical skills• Good written and verbal communication skills• Motivated and willing to learn• Ability to work on more than one project at a time with attention to detail and flexibility.• Ability to work in a team environment
