Sr. National Contract Analyst

This position is responsible for the calculation of monthly pricing, rebates and chargebacks, as well as documenting and monitoring contracts for compliance, accuracy and timing. There is also responsibility for analysis and reporting on contract adjudications and customer performance-- Processes claims within contractually defined deadlines, complying with current terms and conditions set forth in the contract. Validates customer submitted data used to process the claims.-- Works with customers, sales reps and contract developers to resolve complex issues with contracts. Negotiates a course of action that is mutually acceptable for all parties. Demonstrates consistent and proactive communication on all items related to a contracted customer with the appropriate sales rep and corporate receivables management personnel.-- Reviews new contracts and determines steps needed to implement them. Inputs contract pricing into data systems. Rigorously records the status of all claims in the contract claims tracking system-- Maintains complete and thorough audit trail, documenting all work and communication regarding processing of claims. Collaborates with Finance to monitor accuracy and timeliness of payouts and accruals.-- Leads and/or participates in systems implementations and process improvement projects. This may involve cross-functional teams, change management, process mapping, standard operating procedures and performance metrics. Monitors and improves data infrastructure.-- Demonstrates an understanding of the application of the Quality Policy through daily activities. Maintains vigilance to ensure adherence to the Quality Policy and system procedures by promptly reporting noncompliance issues to management.-- Utilizes multiple software programs, including AES, CPCC, Word, Excel, AccessQualifications3 to 6 years work experience with exposure to contract administration or operations, data analysis and interpretation, PC applications and business systems analysis. Demonstrated track record of utilizing complex quantitative analysis and customer service skills. Experience in reading, interpreting and analyzing pricing contracts, and healthcare industry experience are preferred but not required. Must be able to apply oral and written communication skills, meet deadlines and balance workloads, adjust to changing priorities and be flexible in a changing business environment. Must be very detail oriented and organized·Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
