Sr Production Associate (Q-PCR Assay Development)

Optimize and troubleshoot molecular biology processes (i.e., nucleic acid extraction, PCR, Q-PCR), validate methods, prepare technical summaries and documentation such as SOPs and batch records, and perform technology transfer from R&D. Process/analyze and present data  and communicate results in both oral and written presentations.  Requires an MA/MS in scientific discipline such as Molecular Biology (preferred), Biology, or Cell Biology with 1-2 years experience in industry (preferred) or an academic laboratory, or equivalent.  Experience in real-time PCR (Q-PCR) is required.  Assay development experience  including primer/probe design or sequence data analysis and experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GLP, GMP, or GCP) is a plus.
