Sr. Production Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

Sr. Production Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift In this role you will perform preventive maintenance duties, make repairs and modifications to production equipment, troubleshoot and checkout/startup new plant equipment. You will fabricate components per drawings or verbal instructions as well as assist in the design fabrication and modification of plant equipment or components. Additionally, you will assist in developing project equipment budgets.To be successful in this position, you must possess: High school graduate or equivalent Minimum of 5 years related industrial mechanical or industrial electrical experience or completion of 2 years applicable technical school and 3 years related tools such as volt meters, amp meters, VPUs micro processors, hand tools, welders, sheet metal equipment calipers, and micrometers and PLCs Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook is required Capability to work overtime during the week and on weekends, adjust schedule quickly and be willing to be called in to meet operational demands to minimize downtime Ability to pass a technical skills test Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassistedHospira offers a balanced work culture as well as competitive compensation and benefits.
