For more information, please log onto our company website at www.stiefel.com Sr Research Associate - Associate Scientist The successful candidate will have scientific and technical ability to coordinate and conduct project assignments to meet bioanalytical needs to support preclinical research product development and regulatory submissions of new drug products. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out in vitro release / bioanalytical studies independently or in collaboration with others.  The candidate is expected to work hands-on in method development, problem solving, and analysis using LC/MS/MS. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:? Develop sample processing (protein precipitation, SPE, liquid-liquid extraction, etc.) and LC-MS/MS methods for the quantitative analysis of small molecules and/or their metabolites in biological matrices (plasma, urine, etc); including skin permeation media.? Support Center for Formulation Innovation and Center for Skin Biology in the evaluation of novel formulation/technology platform evaluation? Conduct in vitro drug release, bioanalytical analysis for in vivo/in vitro DM/PK/PD/TK studies.? Routine laboratory functions also include instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting, and assistance in study planning, protocol preparation, data analysis and reporting of study results.? Manage internal DMPK/Bioanalytical study records and reports.? Prepare written and oral presentations on in-house R&D projects. Present study results at scientific meetings and publish results in scientific journals.? Periodically review technical publications, abstracts and articles, and attend scientific meetings to stay abreast of current technologies.Requirements: ? B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline, with 2-5 years of relevant postgraduate experience. ? Hands-on experience on quantitative analysis with HPLC and LC/MS/MS in biological matrices is necessary. ? Experience in laboratory automation and GLP regulation is preferred. ? Ability to work independently and flexibly, have effective oral and written communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with teammates across departments and with external vendors/CROs.Apply Now!
