Sr. Research Associate/Scientist

Responsible for initiating and executing scientific research and/or development strategies to achieve MannKind's objectives and goals
Investigate, create and develop new methods and technologies for project advancement and determine methods and porcedures on new projects
Apply theoretical knowledge to assigned projects, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency within scientific discipline
Provide analytical support, analyzing samples (develop analytical methods)
Participate in project driven teams and perform literature searchs in support of projects
Participate in method transfer process as required
PhD in analytical chemistry with 2 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience; OR
MS in chemistry with 5 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience; OR
BS in chemistry with 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
