Provide leadership and scientific input on the development of novel scientific applications to support Bio-Rad GXD products. Write technical notes, scientific papers, and prepare posters and scientific presentations. Give oral presentations at scientific meetings and customer trainings. Perform the evaluation of novel technologies and provide feedback to Marketing, R and D and GXD management. Effectively interact with other Groups within GXD including Marketing, and R and D. Ph.D or equivalent in cell biology, molecular biology or biochemistry. 3 plus years of post-graduate work experience. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to discuss technical issues. Knowledge of a wide range of cell biology, molecular biology, biochemical techniques useful for the application of novel scientific applications including gene delivery techniques, tissue culture, cellular imaging PCR and qPCR, microarrays, RNAi, Norther Blots. The candidate needs to have a portfolio of peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations.
