Position Description:

Design, develop and maintain software used to control laboratory automation processes for internal manufacturing and outside customers.Evaluate automation solutions as needed.Job duties include but are not limited to:• Design, develop and maintain software to interface with and control laboratory robotics equipment (including complex off-the-shelf systems and custom designed systems) and to access information from a database to aid in their control.• Evaluate off the shelf automation solutions to complex lab processes.• The candidate must posses excellent troubleshooting and design skills. • Ability to work well in a team environmentQualifications:• B.S. Computer Science or significant software development experience. • 2+ years experience in software development using OOP language (C# .net preferred) in an integrated development environment . • Experience with LIMS workflow a plus. • Experience with laboratory robotics a plus• Customer focused, team oriented, self motivated, and enjoys working in a fast paced (RAD) environment. • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
