Sr Statistical Analyst

Responsibilities:
• May serve as a Lead on the study level to plan, organize, delegate and manage programming activities from start to finish, by overseeing all development, validation and production of programs for a study.
• Perform the tasks of programming, testing, validating, maintaining and documenting programs for use in creating analysis files, statistical summary tables, figures and listings, in accordance with standards and validation procedures.
• Provide programming support to supplemental or exploratory analyses for regulatory agencies, marketing or publications, or any other ad-hoc requests.
• Assist in the creation of integrated databases, including ISS/ISE databases, with the efforts on the design of the database specifications, and the database programming and validation.
• Provide inputs in reviewing the project-related documents.
• Provide programming support to Data Management by reviewing data transfer plans and verifying CRO data transfers.
• Maintain organized, complete and up-to-date study documentations in compliance with Amylin and regulatory standards.
• Review projects against goals and submit status reports to management.
• Assist in developing, revising and maintaining SOPs in conjunction with SP Management.
• Assist in programming, testing and documenting global utility programs and tools in accordance with standards and validation procedures.
• Assist in managing priorities and time constraints across studies.
• May participate in project update meetings with management.
• Independently determine and develop approach to solution on the study level.
• Mentor junior Analysts.
• Meet milestones as assigned, with high quality.
• Perform other duties as directed by SP management or senior programming personnel.


Requirements
• Either a BS degree in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of statistics and the drug development process.
• Advanced knowledge of Base SAS.
• Substantial knowledge of SAS/STAT, SAS Macro Language, and SAS/GRAPH is preferred.
• Excellent organization, verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
