Job Responsibilities
This position will reside in the IMS China Beijing office. Provide expertise in analytic methodologies to assigned projects for IMS US Statistical Studies and provide ongoing analytic support for existing US Pharmaceutical Market Research Studies.


Under supervision, provides statistical methodology support in the delivery of standard and custom studies.


Applies statistical design and methodology to meet client information needs, conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study and assists in preparing written summaries of study results.


Assists other statisticians in preparing analysis plans and statistical reports and performs validation of statistical analysis.


Works on projects of moderate scope within defined procedures and practices.

 

Requirements
Typically requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Computer Sciences or related quantitative science degree. Or a Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of relevant professional business experience in market research, or applied statistics.


Prior work experience or an internship that provided the opportunity to apply statistical methods is preferred.


Statistical knowledge includes understanding of multivariate statistics, sampling methods, regression and forecasting.


Applied experience with SAS, SPSS or a structured programming language is required.

 

Proficient in oral and written English: English Test Scores passing CET-6.

 

Must be proficient in MS Office.
