Requires workable knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory techniques. Works under limited supervision.  Follows general direction for work and may have full responsibility for minor projects. Position Responsibilities 1. Performs tasks requiring considerable judgment in determining work methods, interpreting results and writing clear and accurate reports. 2. Works with technicians and may assist engineers in evaluating and improving designs or processes. 3. May build and test mechanical models, electrical circuits and assemblies, software, and/or perform basic analyses requiring knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory techniques. 4. May assist in project planning and budgeting 5. May provide direction or training to interns or lower-level technicians. 6. Compare results against predetermined limits and write clear and accurate test result reports. 7. Construct and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment and software tools. 8. Troubleshoot and fault isolate equipment. 9. Coordinate schedules within work group and with other departments. 10. Perform other related duties as required. Basic Qualifications * Technical Associate Degree or equivalent experience in applicable discipline * Four years applicable technical experience * Strong attention to detail and task organizational skills * Operate well in a team environment * Proficient computer skills with office software applications * Proficient use of basic data analysis tools * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficient use of applicable equipment Desired/Preferred Qualifications Five years applicable technical experience Physical Job Requirements Ability to lift 35 lbs.  With people like you who have purpose, potential and passion, we’ll supply physicians and their patients around the world with the means to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life.
