Major responsibilities include design and implementation of of manufacturing systems for consumable products, and managing engineering projects to support manufacturing operations. Work with development staff, manufacturing managers, other engineers and outside vendors to design, specify, implement, document and qualify manufacturing systems for consumable (liquid and solid) reagents. Act as lead (or team member) on cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing systems and technology. Assess current manufacturing and filling operations and facilities, propose process improvements, and lead implementation efforts.

Requires a B.S. degree, or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years relevant experience in manufacturing process engineering, design and implementation. Project management experience for process and equipment projects within the biotech, pharma or chemical process industry, or equivalent is also desired. The candidate should have excellent communication and documentation skills, have the ability to work independently, and effectively balance multiple priorities. Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to changes in project requirements. Ability to use CAD for process and equipment design a plus.Submit Your Resume Online Now
