Staff Scientist - Product Development/WHC - (Job Number: 0713236) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company Division of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Staff Scientist-Product Development/WHC. The Staff Scientist will be working in a dynamic team environment supporting product development programs within Women's Health (Sanpro) business. The candidate will work to identify new technologies and translating these technologies into product prototypes to small scale proof of principle testing. The individual will work with internal partners such as Marketing, Market Research, Research and Engineering as well as external partners to identify consumer needs. The successful candidate will work to translate consumer insights into concepts and prototypes to establish proof of principle and identify potential claimable benefits, which includes formulations, nonwovens, and absorbent structures. Candidate should have the ability and skills to analyze data from multiple sources and be able to recommend direction for programs they lead. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of experience in a scientific discipline or consumer-based discipline is required. A Master's degree with 3 or more years of experience in a scientific discipline or consumer-based discipline is preferred. A Ph.D. with 2 or more years of experience in a scientific discipline or consumer-based discipline is preferred. A degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related scientific field is required. Knowledge of Product Development is required. Enthusiasm and curiosity for innovation and a track record in translating consumer needs into product forms and benefits is required. The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and the ability to work in a matrix based organizational structure is required. An entrepreneurial view of R&D and the ability to collaborate with Marketing and both internal as well as external resources for product development is required. Up to 10% travel (Global, Domestic) is required.
