Statistics Business Associate Fixed Duration Employee
The Global Statistical Sciences (GSS) organization at Lilly is a functional home for scientists who play an important role in all aspects of "drug hunting" (Discovery, Development, and Commercialization). We partner with many groups throughout Lilly to successfully deliver on our innovation and demand realization clinical portfolio. In order to facilitate the delivery of this portfolio, GSS has initiated a number of projects geared at increasing the productivity of the organization. The purpose of this job is to assist in the implementation of these projects, including project rollout/implementation activities, the development of operational metrics, and productivity tracking. This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of up to 4 years.
KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:
Project Implementation and Rollout Activities: Understand project status and work with GSS teams to lead and monitor the use of new tools that are delivered through productivity improvement activities. Coordinate the use and uptake of tools and processes resulting from project rollouts. Operational Metrics Generation/Collection: In order to measure progress with committed GSS productivity goals, good baseline metrics need to be set and a plan developed for tracking metrics over time. This person would develop a plan for what operational metrics should be collected and ensure data collection tools and processes are in place in order to monitor progress towards commitments to efficiency gains. Develop Compliance Metrics: As projects are implemented and rolled out, understanding who is using the processes and tools and how we are complying to the standardized process will be key. Project Management: Work with leadership to create and track overall project plan, including frequent updates, follow up to project status, and issue escalation and resolution. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree. At least 2 years experience in pharma or project management. Strong project management skills. Strong business/financial background. Knowledge of the clinical trial process. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Degree in business or a related area preferred. Strong communication skills. Detail oriented individual. Data driven decision maker.
