Strategic Accounts Analyst

Analyst has an in depth understanding of complex business issues involving GPOs and IDNs. Analyst ensures the timely review, detailed financial analysis, and administration of sales request for pricing adjustments related to GPOs and IDNs. Analyst will develop, in conjunction with the Strategic Accounts sales team, the business rationale to support the request for adjusted pricing. This rationale will include complex analysis of historical sales, competitive pricing pressures, overall market dynamics, potential price exposure, and any existing contractual status. Attention to detail is critical. The ability to articulate key conclusions resulting from this analysis and make recommendations is required. Analyst will counsel the sales team to ensure the pricing request is consistent with the pricing strategy supported by sales & marketing senior leadership. Analyst will package and present pricing requests to senior management for approval. Analyst will gather and file all pricing approvals. Analyst will create contract documenting approved pricing, discounting and deal structure in accordance with OEC and corporate policies. Analyst will coordinate the creation of price letters by Contract Analysts and verify price loads generated by Contract Analysts. Analyst will review pricing requests submitted by Business Analysts with potential GPO and IDN implications and facilitate approval through Strategic Accounts sales team. Analyst will work with legal and occasionally directly with customers to negotiate business terms for non-standard contractual language. Analyst may also work directly with customer to resolve complex business issues. Analyst will create ad hoc sales reports and/or analysis as needed. Analyst will serve as subject matter expert to Business Analysts and sales force on GPO contract implementation issues.Additional job responsibilities include: Facilitate the development of GPO and IDN contracting strategies Create implementation packages for GPO contract launches Maintain and enhance GPO and IDN Contract Summary tools IDN membership roster management Maintain and enhance IDN financial models and business review models for sales and pricing analysisQualificationsPosition Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Additional Information This position is located in Alpharetta, Georgia. Excel and Word expertise is a must. Contracting experience and/or pricing experience is preferred.
