Summer Intern, Genetic Toxicology - (Job Number: 0805317) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, L.L.C. (JJPRD) is seeking highly motivated Summer Intern for our Preclinical Development group to work at our Raritan, NJ site. As a Summer Intern in Genetic Toxicology you will be required to complete one primary project, to provide the most benefit for the student as well as the Genetic Toxicology Group. The suggested project would be for the intern to acquire the learning and then to conduct microscopic evaluations of invivo studies and bone marrow smears and to discriminate newly formed erythrocytes (PCEs) from older erythrocytes (NCEs) and then enumerate the presence of micronuclei (DNA damage) in the PCEs. The completion of this project is critical for it is required for the Genetic Toxicology group to complete the validation of the flow cytometric micronucleus analysis of our study. Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Biology. Completed course work in cell and molecular biology preferred. Proficiency in MS Office programs preferred. Strong communication skills required. Hand-eye coordination is required for this role. Ability to handle the steady and rapid movement of microscope lens is required for this role. Apply Now
