***THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN WILSON, NORTH CAROLINA***Establishes cooperation among internal resources to ensure prompt and accurate execution of research/development studies. Leads the design and development of innovative techniques and methodologies for all types of dosage forms and drug substances. Provides guidance, solutions to questions and technical training to subordinate staff members to attain specific goals within a predetermined timeline. Makes recommendations to senior management on instrument purchase, new technique implementation and resolution of tech transfer issues. Develops protocols, writes and reviews ANDA reports and responds to FDA deficiencies. Administers established practices and policies, and may identify process enhancements to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards Supervises a group of employees or outside contractors/vendors who have similar technical or functional responsibilities. This level requires operational knowledge of area of functional responsibility. Assigns tasks, reviews work and writes appraisals. Ensures projects are on schedule and within budget. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with no process defined.QualificationsBS and 8 years of related experience; or MS and 6 years of related experience; or PhD and 4 years of related experience
