Supervisor, Microbiology LMI 007
Reporting to the Manager, QC Microbiology, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the Microbiology Laboratory’s staff of six analysts. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of sterility testing, environmental monitoring, microbial identification methods and standard microbiological analytical techniques.  Position is responsible for all aspects of laboratory operations, including calibration, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensuring lab supplies are available.  Assures testing is performed in a timely and compliant manner based on business need. Ensures the integrity and quality of data generated and that analysts are trained and comply with operating procedures to meet all cGMP and safety requirements.  Minimum requirements include bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (microbiology, biology, or related field), 3- 5 years microbiology laboratory management  experience in a pharmaceutical or related environment, broad knowledge of cGMPs and laboratory compliance requirements.
