**THIS POSITION IS BASED IN WILSON, NORTH CAROLINA AND IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION**Responsible for taking multiple excipients and active raw material through a design manufacturing process that produces a finished dosage form for the consumer. Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. Document activities as appropriate and perform specified quality checks.Responsible for supervising a group of production technicians. Understands supervision and management practices including, leadership, appropriate communication modalities and subordinate team-building methods. Responsible for understanding and enforcing distribution center safety requirements and expectations. Possesses knowledge of general logistics, process improvement theory, customer service practices, coaching and counseling approaches, and conflict management techniques. Responsible for supervision of set-up, processing, clearing and documentation of manufacturing equipment and paperwork practices with a high operational focus on housekeeping and safe work practices. Provides training to subordinate team on records retention, cGMP's, SOP's, FDA and DEA regulations.QualificationsBS/BA and 6 years of professional related experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing supervising employees in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
