The Team Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the Registration & Storage Center to ensure the successful implementation of the Global Specimen Management Center strategy, structures, processes, and metrics in order to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include: 1. Ensuring the development of a competent workforce to meet growth plans within budget. 2.Supervising the workload balance. 3.Ensuring the seamless integration of all Specimen Management Center functions at the local site. 4.Accountable for the activities of the team, communicating issues to management and taking corrective action where appropriate. 5.Ensuring the consistent implementation, use and review of SOPs. 6.Monitoring and tracking department activities and resources. 7.Assisting and supporting management in the development and implementation of global processes and procedures, and performance metrics. 8.Participating in the Specimen Management Center tasks related to strategy, planning, budgeting and cross department issues. 9.Ensuring new processes are developed with global participation and implementation. 10. Tracking, monitoring, and reporting metrics in the agreed upon timelines. 11. Instilling a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity. 12. Coordinating and monitoring progress to ensure achievement of timelines and goals. 13. Day-to-day supervision of individual team members. 14. With management’s input, complete thorough, timely and well-documented performance evaluations and interim progress reviews. 15. Establishing and monitoring performance objectives for direct reports, communicating performance issues to management, and taking corrective action where appropriate. 16.Monitoring, tracking, managing and ensuring resolution of all customer complaints, issues and concerns. 17. Ensuring all service failures are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner. 18. Take preventative action to ensure that service failure(s) do not occur again. 19. Effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings and procedures. 20. Monitors expenses and communicates to Management budget variances.
