Company Background

Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals is a privately held company with Corporate Headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA, just outside of Pittsburgh. The company was formed in April 2000 and is a specialty drug manufacturer dedicated to helping patients by offering them specialized therapies. Our mission is to develop, manufacture, and market the highest quality branded and generic drug products for patients with serious diseases. In April 2004, Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals received Final Approval from the U.S. FDA (Food & Drug Administration) to market its first generic product, Ribasphere® (ribavirin capsules), 200mg. In keeping with its focus of anti-viral therapy, the company received FDA approval for Ribasphere® (ribavirin, USP) Tablets in December 2005.

 

In addition, Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals has broadened its presence in the hepatitis C market with the December 2005 launch of Ribasphere® Tablets and RibaPak™. With the development of these therapies, Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals has helped many patients around the world improve the quality of their treatment.

 

Also in 2005, Three Rivers acquired the broad-spectrum intravenous antifungal AMPHOTEC®/AMPHOCIL® (Amphotericin B Cholesteryl Sulfate Complex for Injection). This brand pharmaceutical product has a strong international presence and further solidifies the company’s commitment to specialty therapy.

 Supply Chain Analyst

 

 

Summary:

 

Due to rapid growth a Supply Chain Analyst position has been created within our highly-successful and profitable specialty pharmaceutical company located in the Pittsburgh area. This position is in charge of demand management and is responsible for forecasting activities of finished drug products utilized to drive production and distribution planning.  This includes managing all systems utilized to generate the forecast information, creation and tracking of purchase orders and production batches, and facilitating validation activities related to the inventory system.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 Prepare and manage inventory planning forecastsReconcile monthly inventoryManage inventory obsolescence report Coordinate and manage supply chain vendorsPrepare production formsRecord and produce production entries Coordinate and manage inventory transactions with warehouse personnelPrepare and manage system validation reports and documentationPrepare and route purchase ordersProcess EDI Chargebacks and Purchase OrdersWrite and update Standard Operating Procedures

 

Educational/Professional Requirements:B.A. or B.S. Degree in Business Administration or Related Field1-2 years experience in planning and inventory managementOracle experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Excel®Excellent written and oral communication skills
