Supply Chain Analyst - International Trade

Edwards Lifesciences is a global leader in products and technologies to treat advanced cardiovascular disease, and the number-one heart valve company in the world.  Headquartered in Irvine, CA., Edwards has more than 5,600 employees selling medical technologies in nearly 100 countries with 2007 sales of $1.091 billion.There is an immediate opening in International Trade Operations for a Supply Chain Analyst.  This is an entry-level opportunity for a recent International Business graduate with some corporate experience. Will develop and support systems to ensure compliance to all U.S. laws and regulations; publish export compliance updates worldwide based on changes to export regulations; assist teams on accomplishing goals in compliance with import/export regulations; develop and maintain information on company website to assist colleagues worldwide concerning current policies and provide on-line training tools. Will prepare and file required reports to the Bureau of Industry and Security, Department of Commerce, State Department and other government agencies. A Bachelor's degree, ability to multi-task and manage in a matrix environment; strong communication, presentation, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills are required.
