Supply Chain Analyst - (Job Number: 0804709) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst, located in Piscataway, NJ. Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises. The Suppy Chain Analyst will plan and execute MD&D US Region Supply Chain measurement and reporting requirements ensuring comprehension of schedules/deadlines related to all requests to deliver business validated results on time, according to schedule. Demonstrated working knowledge of the business and each functional department to provide value-add to the organization. Drive knowledge transfer across discipline/business partners/Franchises to ensure ease of transition to "self-service" capabilities as appropriate. Proactive problem identification and solution development to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring to policies and practices for guidance. Activities include: Inquiry/Service Complaint Management: Responsible for Tier 3 (Level 1 or 2) inquiry/service complaint management for the following items: VMI; Consignment Management, e-adoption, recall management, made-to-order, bid-quote, sales administration/sales planning and operations, marketing programs, market research analysis. Follows-up on open inquiries and escalates unresolved calls to appropriate subject matter experts based on SOP. Works with Tier 2 CSR and/or "Case Owner" to ensure completion of inquiry/service request to fulfillment to maintain closed-loop process standards. Supports CAPA process and crisis communication. Conducts troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues using company-specific knowledge of products, processes and contacts and develops recommendations for resolution. Data mining, analysis and validation: Understands data requests (proactive involvement to ensure comprehension of how the data requested will be used to ensure appropriate data mining activities) Conducts trending and analysis, data mining, validation and maintenance to generate creation of reports and scorecards aligned to business requirements/needs. Supports inventory management and manages product allocation for VMI (e.g., monitors fluctuations in volume and depletion of inventory, allocates inventory shipments around holiday schedule, generates CRP orders, develops forecasts, sets safety stock and lead time parameters). Conducts audit of expected returns. Presentation of data in a format that allows management to make strategic decisions; i.e., creation of an executive summary; use of PE tools and concepts to analyze/drive process improvements as appropriate. Demonstrated sense of urgency to deliver product on time and ensuring accuracy in data presented. Franchise Support: Supports business partnership between the Customer Support organization and Franchise functional areas. Supports execution of new product launches with Franchise and the Customer Support organization (i.e., communications, handle in-service, limited vs full roll-out, etc). Analyzes marketing program trends and identifies success/failure rate and reports back to Franchises. Executes customer satisfaction survey process and related analysis. Updates and tracks key Regional metrics (i.e., SLAs, cycle times) on a cyclical basis to ensure that metrics are continually aligned to business goals. Project Management: Assists Sr. Analyst in key departmental projects by developing and utilizing in-depth knowledge of business processes and systems, as well as project management skills. Governance Process Execution (as required). The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree (Logistics, Engineering or Business, preferred), MBA a plus. Must have at least 3 years of experience with a BS Degree in Supply Chain or other Business area in Logistics or related function; 1-3 years with an MBA. Use of various analytical/statistical tools to optimize business processes with documented business results; Approx. 2 years of project management experience; PE experience preferred. Flexibility and Change (Sense of Urgency): Suggests and adapts to change and rearranges priorities and work to achieve goals and satisfy customers. Planning and Organization (Big Picture Orientation with Attention to Detail): Prioritizes tasks appropriately and effectively manages time. Uses available resources and organizes work ensure commitments and priorities are met. Problem Solving (Sense of Urgency, Intellectual Curiosity, Prudent Risk Taking): Identifies and analyzes problems, issues, situations and recommends/applies appropriate solutions. Follows up to assure positive results. Strong analytical & quantitative skills ' ability to translate data into decisions. Teamwork (Collaboration and Teaming): Builds professional relationships across functions and sites with internal and external partners and collaborates to achieve shared goals. Basic statistical knowledge required; PE Belt Certified preferred (BB/GB) with PE training a minimum requirement. Information and Technology (Intellectual Curiosity): Effectively uses job related information technology and tools to achieve results. Thorough working knowledge to utilize the following systems to achieve business requirements: SIEBEL, SAP, CTI, Internet, BPCS, Laser (view only), Returns Goods System, SGA System, J&J Gateway Commerce, MICROSOFT Office products (EXCEL, Word).
