Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, L.L.C. develops treatments that improve the health and lifestyles of people worldwide. Research and development areas encompass novel targets in neurological disorders, gastroenterology, oncology, infectious disease, diabetes, hematology, metabolic disorders, immunologic disorders, and reproductive medicine. The Supply Chain Manager will manage the worldwide clinical supply chain for a selected product portfolio and define supply chain execution in a cross-functional team, monitor short-term planning activities across the supply chain and monitor deliveries of clinical supplies to distribution contractors or J&J sites. The individual will also be responsible for taking corrective measures and resolve non-performances between business partners as well as identify needed process improvements and lead those improvements. A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline is required. A minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical supply chain activities is required; experience in clinical supplies is preferred. Prior experience developing and designing new processes is an asset. Certifications in Process Excellence (Six Sigma Green or Black Belt) are an asset. Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred. Experience in the use of ERP system implementation would be preferred. Experience in virtual collaboration and/or global experience will be an asset. The ability to define, measure, prioritize, and manage service requirements from the customer is required. The qualified candidate must be results oriented, possess a sense of urgency and have strong decision making, communication, relationship building, and collaborative skills. The ability to travel domestically and globally is required. The ability to work in Titusville, NJ is required.
