Location: Summit, NJ 07901 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Pay Rate: 20.00 - 25.00 USD /hour Reference Code: 1001060629 Our client is looking for a contractor to join their team on a six moth assignment.Location Summit NJPlease send resumes to nicolebellina@spherion.com Summary The purpose of the Supply Operations Specialist is to manage the procurement, toll manufacturing, shipping and customer service activities of assigned APIs and finished SKUs from vendors and tolling facilities to international subsidiaries. The Supply Operations Specialist is responsible for receiving purchase forecasts and orders from customers and developing production requirements on plants. Incumbent is responsible for processing purchase orders in SAP and for reconciling SAP transactions such as invoicing and movement of material. Additional responsibilities include order fulfillment and documentation including shipping documentation, maintaining accurate system data (e.g. pricing and master data), developing KPI analysis and providing customer service. Major activities and responsibilities 25% Managing Supply of APIs: • Interact with Customers and third party suppliers to ensure strong communication flow and product availability • Process purchase orders (POs) from customers, create selling orders in SAP and issue SAP-POs to vendors. Communicate to customers any change on shipping dates and any supply issues. • Coordinate shipping activities with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments • Invoice POs • Provide customers with shipment details and monthly open orders report • Work with freight forwarders and vendors to improve and maintain service levels. 30% Managing tolling activities: • Interact with Customers and SP manufacturing facilities to ensure strong communication flow and product availability • Process POs from customers and issue SAP-POs for tolling facilities • Manages sourcing of APIs for toll manufacturing • Monitor production plan to ensure timely availability of product • Coordinate shipping activities with tolling facilities and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments 5% Import/Export • Support Schering Corp and Animal Health export/import activities: issue POs and other Job Requirements in Addition to Description Listed Above: BS required - preferably Supply Chain MS Office/Excel rqd Import/Export Exp Customer Service Exp   Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
