Job Description Support Web Engineer Position Summary: The Web Engineer will perform a variety of tasks supporting the enterprise web applications including development of enhancements, tier 3 technical support in the form of troubleshooting, analysis and resolution of production issues and supporting the development staff during the software development lifecycle for configuration and testing. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 1. Must have superior Java and J2EE expertise. Prior experience with and detailed knowledge of J2EE Best Practices and be up to date on the very latest J2EE and related specifications and standards.2. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities 3. Expertise with J2EE technologies, design patterns, and complete application development lifecycle; proficiency in J2EE, EJB, JSP, and Java Servlets; proficiency in ANT, Application Servers, XML and Unix; working knowledge of JDBC, SQL, RDBMS and Struts preferred4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both business and technical departments. Detail oriented.Solid understanding of diverse environments and components - mainframe, Unix, Windows, database, networks, etc.Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: · Bachelors Degree· Java/J2EE Experience Job Level: Experienced
