SummaryResponsible for all aspects of Windows 2003 Operating environments from design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of systems. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: * Build and maintain Windows 2003 physical and virtual server environments. * Perform capacity planning functions to ensure system resources are adequately utilized and scaled for future growth. * Daily administration of Active Directory performance monitoring, account and directory administration. * Support backend infrastructure for mobile devices including Goodlink and Blackberry. * Build design and support Microsoft Sharepoint. * Execute the MS Windows Installation and Operational Qualifications to ensure CSV compliance. * Install/upgrade Hardware, Operating Systems and Utility software * Monitor hardware, space utilization & performance via BMC Patrol solution. * Tune servers for optimal performance via vendor specifications and technical reviews. * Provide 2nd level 7x24x365 support for MS Windows server issues and/or problems. * Participate in disaster recovery planning & testing. * Review and Maintain security procedures with Application Developers to ensure compliance with standards * Participate/Create technical support documentation * Review problems/issues with Engineering * Maintain Anti-virus protection infrastructure * Manage patching and updates according to change management procedures. * Manage the maintenance and upkeep of our PKI Infrastcruture and the Certificate AuthorityADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Data Backup/Restore of Windows environments. * Requires occasional off-hours availabilityRequirements:Education:Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent Experience:Minimum 5 - 7 years in Windows 2000/2003 Exchange environment and overall Networking experience.   Licensure/Credentials:Windows 2003 MCSE preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of Windows 2003 server environments, virtualization and Active Directory, design, implementation, administration and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of MS Exchange, design implementation, administration and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of TCP IP Networking and other network protocols. Strong documentation skills and proficient use with various Microsoft products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detailed oriented with excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills Strong Understanding and Experience with Microsoft PKI Infrastructure a must Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices. Production support within an Enterprise environment subject to regulatory compliance.
