Systems Analyst (EI SA 24678)

Lexicon Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of breakthrough treatments for human disease located in The Woodlands Texas. We are systematically discovering the physiological and behavioral functions of genes to identify potential points of therapeutic intervention, or drug targets.  We have identified and validated more than 100 targets with promising profiles for drug discovery. Our physiology-based approach to understanding gene function and our use of knockouts to model expected drug action are designed to identify new ways to treat major human diseases and create an extensive pipeline of clinical and preclinical programs in the therapeutic areas of diabetes and obesity, cardiovascular disease, psychiatric and neurological disorders, cancer, immune system disorders and ophthalmic disease. 

 

We are currently recruiting for a Systems Analyst.

 



This position will be responsible for supporting JD Edwards and to assist with an application upgrade from One World XE to Enterprise One 8.12. Duties will include, but not limited to, security, application support for Finance and Human Resource, CNC administration, performing package builds, applying ESU's, report debugging, report development and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. The systems analyst must be able to trouble shoot and resolve application and programming issues, utilizing debug and Report Design Aid Tool and posses a thorough knowledge of event rules programming. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with and able to administer Enterprise servers, deployment server and JAS servers. Oracle knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years JD Edwards experience, preferably JDE Enterprise One. Experience with the JD Edwards development toolset developing and troubleshooting custom applications, reports, and interfaces. Working knowledge of outlook, excel, project. Microsoft SharePoint Knowledge is a plus. Bachelors degree or greater in Management Information Systems or comparable discipline. Ability and desire to work in a team oriented environment
