We assess our client's current technology needs and assist with systems design and implementation to improve both enterprise-wide integration and profitability.  Through our long-term partnerships with many of the world's leading technology companies we can offer extremely cost effective implementation to our clients.  Deloitte Consulting's Technology Integration (TI) offerings include:  - Systems Development - Business Integration & Optimization - Platform Architecture & Infrastructure - Information Management - IT Strategy & Management   Systems Development Deloitte Consulting's Systems Developemnt (SD) area drives the design and implementation of custom software solutions and related advisory services.  Systems Development is focused on four key offerings: design & development of custom business solutions, custom extensions to enterprise applications, testing strategy, support & design services and the migration of legacy technology to open architectures.   A Consultant in Systems Development is involved in the design and implementation of custom technology-enabled business solutions. Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Consultants gain exposure to multiple industries while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by Deloitte Consulting LLP. Responsibilities include defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Consultants must have: - 3+ years of professional experience which should include either management consulting experience or relevant industry knowledge. - A solid understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle. - Experience in implementing large-scale custom development and/or systems integration projects in one or more phases of the software development lifecycle. - Strong analytic skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - A willingness to travel nationally to client locations. - Bachelor's Degree required. In addition, ideal candidates will also have experience in three or more of the following: - Prior consulting experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment. - Working with business users to gather requirements, writing functional and technical specifications. - Significant experience with J2EE or .NET. - Significant experience with enterprise applications such as Siebel, SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle, etc. - Middleware Implementations. - Developing technical architecture to support business initiatives. - Performing business process analysis, mapping, and design. - Conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis. - Developing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. - Testing, including all phases: System, Integration, and Performance Testing and ensuring traceability.
