Systems Support Analyst

Maintain network systems to meet business needs.2. Complete all projects assigned by Network Operations Manager.3. Identifies Future Development Needs. Translates changes in business goals & objectives into the skills, knowledge and experience needed for future work.4. Provide second and third level desktop support for both on-site and remote personnel.5. Manage desktop environment including maintaining images, system patch management, co-ordinate adds/moves/changes .6. Supports customers in defining the business needs of various parties and works out a mutually acceptable agreement; influences others to support a course of action.7. Serves in Multiple Team Roles. Serves as leader, contributor, facilitator, consultant, expert, arbitrator, evaluator according to needs of the team and task.8. Actively manage the helpdesk queue.9. Follow all Employee Health and Safety (EHS) rules and procedures for your department. Report any EHS incidents and/or near misses (unsafe acts and conditions) promptly to supervision. Attend all required training and medical surveillance programs. Forward any opportunities to improve the EHS program to supervision.QualificationsThe successful candidate is required to have a bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS/IT or related experience. 1 year with minimum education requirements listed above; or 3 5 years related experience is necessary. · Experience with MS-Windows 2000 and XP desktop OS, MS-Windows 2000 & 2003 server OS and MS-office 2000/2003 software is essential. · PC hardware and software configurations, build and deploy, and troubleshooting is necessary.· Good general working knowledge of commonly used commercial PC products and utilities. · Working with Extreme Networks LAN networking systems is considered to be a plus. Holding any of the following certifications is considered a plus.· Relevant Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.· Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) or Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) Certification.
