TOP PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY SEEKING MANAGER OF INFORMATICS-NC

  As MANAGER OF INFORMATICS you will direct the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the preclinical & clinical informatics functions and overall research computing capability.   In your role as MANAGER OF INFORMATICS you will be responsible for:  Development of short and long-term IS strategies to aid in the company’s achievement of business objectives—this includes: developing an informatics database strategy including the incorporation of large databases from collaborations, strategic alliances and research & development efforts. Executing and managing the functions of lab automation & information management systems, computational biology, database design, database mining, data analysis, software development, lab automation & information management systems in order to meet necessary business requirements on a corporate-wide basis. Database programming as well as writing scientific application code for various software development needs.
