Technical Coordinator

Technician Coordinator- Memphis, TNKelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Technician Coordinator in Memphis, TN. The candidate will be responsible for evaluation and distribution of donated ocular tissue per Standard Operating Procedures.Responsibilities: * Maintains neat and accurate documentation on all hard copy forms related to evaluation and processing in compliance with SOPs* Performs slit lamp and specular examination of all eye tissue* Expedites timely release of all ocular tissues* Communicates with TDIC regarding tissue status and local needs* Performs lab maintenance per SOPS* Replaces supplies as needed* Performs other duties as needed or assigned in lab maintenance, quality control, training and researchQualifications: * Bachelor degree in a life science or equivalent education/experience in eye banking with two years eye bank experience preferred* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail* Must maintain confidentiality of donor related information* Valid driver license and insurable* Able to relocate in short time period* Able to work flexible schedule and work on call as neededFor immediate consideration, click the 'Apply Now!' button, or refer a friend by clicking the 'E-mail this job' link provided.Kelly Scientific Resources® has grown into a $200 million global business as the scientific business unit of Kelly Services.
