Technical Marketing Representative

 

Technical Marketing Representative – Field-based position reports to Customer Support Manager

 

Responsibilities

1. Follow-up technical support at customer sites after in-house training.

2. On-site troubleshooting technical and equipment issues.

3. On-site assay training.

4. Work closely with sales in team approach supporting customers.

5. Installation of all BAS equipment.

6. Preventative maintenance and inventory of all BAS equipment at responsible sites.

7. Perform weekly run data of responsible sites for quantity/quality and connect with customer as needed.

8. Coordinate pre-implementation meetings with new accounts.

9. Generate weekly site interaction logs and monthly progress/status reports.

10. Assist and support customers with validations and revalidations.

11. Provide advanced training to customers when required.

12. Perform site survey and work flow analysis at customer sites.

13. Educate customers on new assays available.

14. Learn and assess customers’ business to offer suggestions to grow BioArrays testing with addition of various patient population samples and/or donor testing samples.

15. Remain technically competent and keep current in the new developments within the industry.

16. Review and comment on marketing materials.

17. Marketing projects and assigned.

18. All other duties apparent or assigned.

   

Requirements: 

  BS in Biology or related science field

  Minimum five years laboratory experience in regulated environment

  Previous experience in a marketing and technical supportive role

  80-90% travel

Works:

  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook

Ability to function well in a team environment
