We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative for our New England territory, to be responsible for:
*Identifying new opportunities to meet customer needs
*Maintaining ongoing communication with an assigned customer base, with a focus on relationship selling of Taconic products and services
* Gathering market information about current and future customer needs
* Providing updated technical information to customers
* Communicating with customers in order to assure satisfaction with Taconic products and services.
The territory covered by this position is the New England territory, which includes Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Eastern Canada.
Qualifications:
* BS degree, in Biology, Veterinary Animal Science, or related field
* At least 5 years related experience, including
* 2 or more years relationship/ consultative sales experience strongly desired
* 2 or more years experience in biomedical research services
* AALAS certification highly desirable
* Ability to travel to trade shows, customer locations, and all Taconic sites
