Technical Service, Support and Training Specialist - LCMS

This role contributes to the company’s success by providing service, support and training on Infra Red, multi-label detection and UV-VIS product lines in Shelton, CT.

 

Technical Support Specialist - Infra Red

 

Responsibilities: Provide full service support for all PerkinElmer Infra Red, UV-VIS and Multi-label detection products including instruments and software over the phone and by email.Provide customers, sales and other internal customers with technical and applications supportDocument, investigate and resolve product performance-related customer complaints.Build inside service knowledge base with innovation and improving on existing processes.

 

Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related discipline plus 2-3 years experience.  Strong technical skills, especially with Infra Red Detection and UV-VIS Systems and electronics.Knowledge of scientific applications and instrumentation required.Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills required.Highly motivated with strong organizational skills.  Self-starter.Prior in house technical support/field service/training experience preferred.Previous training or customer service experience desired.
