The US Commercial Operations based in Orange County, California is looking for an experienced Technical Support Manager to take on the challenge of strengthening our service and sales by motivating and managing our Technical Support team.

 

What would you be doing?Responsible for the development and execution of winning service and sales strategies and plans.Manages the Technical Support team to meet or exceed projected customer inquiries and sales goals. Motivates and coaches team members in product knowledge, customer service and sales skills.Confers with management to develop methods and procedures to increase customer service and sales.Trains field sales reps, dealers, and distributors on device installation, repair and maintenance.Supports technical staff with failure analysis and technical problem solving.Compiles and reviews operational records and reports, tracks and documents status.

 

Is this the role for you?

We are looking for talented candidates with exceptional customer service experience and a background in building a technical support team. Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.


Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast changing, high-growth environment where resources are optimized around producing measurable results. He/she must have the breadth of experience and interest to work as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment. Some of the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities include:Successful technical support and sales track record for 5+ yearsTechnical support and sales leadership role Experience managing technical support and service programs Exceptional verbal and written and communication skills Proven ability to assemble a plan against a budget. The ability to create an positive team environment Strong work ethic, high level of energy, flexible, and a sense of humor.Financial analysis skills.Background in medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and/or wholesale distribution a plus.
