Technical Support Representative I Work Location: Columbus, OhioShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Under moderate supervision of the Regional Director of User Services or other supervisory/management-level associate within the Distribution Center or Region, is responsible for primarily providing phone support to ABC customers that use internally developed ECHO ordering software and products. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Supports customer with hardware, software, telecommunications and standard customer service- related issues that arise from the customer’s use of these programs. Responsible for all written and verbal communication with participating customers. Trains and supports end users and sales representatives on ECHO software. Applies problem determination techniques to evaluate hardware and software problems. Responsible for conforming to and supporting Technology Services Department policies, procedures and standards. Responsible for providing customers with accurate answers to questions and complaints regarding program; if unable to provide assistance, escalates customers to Supervisor in a courteous manner. Makes suggestions and recommendations to Supervisor in an effort to continually improve customer service operations. Must be able to work overtime when necessary. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires 2 (two) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
