Identify areas for process improvement including safety, environmental, quality, compliance, yield, productivity and cost. Work with Manufacturing Operations, Process Engineering, Process Development, Maintenance Operations, Automation, Engineering Systems, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Validation departments to implement process improvements. Candidates will also assist with change control, equipment startup and technical training. Candidates should be able to assure regulatory compliance and technical feasibility. In addition candidates will be responsible for providing technical support to investigation and resolution of process deviations. With guidance from senior technicians candidates will perform equipment, process, and cleaning validation duties. Candidates will be required to maintain, complete, and review batch records. As well as develop or revise protocols, coordinate resources and schedule qualification runs. Candidates will be required to summarize results and conclusions in reports. With guidance from senior technicians candidates will: conduct investigations, study to troubleshoot manufacturing problems, document results in technical memos, and collect, track, and trend manufacturing data. Candidates will determine additional information that should be collected on a routine basis to monitor process performance. Candidates will perform self-inspections of their own work, and maintain a clean and orderly work area. All appropriate safety and environmental hazard training must be completed. In addition candidates may perform other duties as assigned. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. This position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production technician role. This position will also require at least 2 years of experience using AutoCAD. Candidates who are familiar with BricsCAD v7.1, Mechanical Desktop, Edge CAM or Master CAM arepreferred.This position will also require that candidates have experience working in GMP or FDA environments. Candidates will also need tobe computer literate withintheMS Office suite. Candidates with experience using an R&D Laser are preferred, andcandidates with a medical device background are also preferred.
