Our Pharmaceuticals Division is searching for a Technician or Senior Technician in Piscataway, NJ who reports to Formulation Development Manager.

 

Basic Function:

The candidate will be responsible for supporting all formulation development and clinical manufacturing activities.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Support all daily formulation and clinical manufacturing activities, such as dispensing, solution preparation, coating, encapsulation operations, as per formulation batch sheets or batch records.

·        Clean, set up and operate processing equipment.

·        Perform in-process and finished product sampling for physical, chemical and stability testing.

·        Document on laboratory notebooks and/or batch records.

·        Maintain inventories of formulated products, raw materials and laboratory supplies.

·        Maintain cleanliness of pilot plant, including physical testing instruments and equipment.

·        Ensure proper waste disposal.

·        Follow SOP’s and comply with cGMP requirements

 

Requirements:           

·        Five or more years of working experience in pharmaceutical industry as operators or technicians.  Knowledge of Wurster fluid bed preferred.

·        Ability to work independently and trouble shoot processing and equipment problems.

·        Experience in complying with cGMPs and OSHA regulations, and following SOP’s.

·        Demonstrate good documentation and communication skills.

·        Must be an organized, detail-oriented and dedicated worker who demonstrates high level of initiative.
