Technology Manager, SAP Global AP Design - (Job Number: 0804554) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson is seeking an IT Technology Manager. The Global AP Design Technology Manager will be responsible for the Global Design of SAP Accounts Payable processes for the Lynx SAP Financials platform. The Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing all processes of the functional area on a global level. This individual with partner with business and technology leaders at all levels to resolve business challenges through the design, implementation and management of enterprise process and systems solutions. The SAP AP Global Process Manager will have the unique opportunity of working across disparate business operations in the Americas, UK, and EU regions to deliver Purchasing and Accounts Payable solutions based on a global SAP template. The candidate will develop and implement standard business processes, data, and strategic system configuration and provide the support necessary to ensure successful implementations and additional country roll-outs. The incumbent will drive high-level design of SAP as well as for other strategic global solutions to enable key functional capabilities, aligned global business processes & standardized configuration, data standards and global system landscape, as well as, participating in the assessment, prioritization and implementation of new functionality, applications, enhancements and projects in support of future global business needs. A minimum BS degree Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline is required. An advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience with SAP in a critical IT leadership role is required. Candidate must have strong knowledge of SAP Cross-functional Logistics and Finance/Controlling involving Functional Analysis and Configuration in various SAP modules with primary focus on Materials Management. The ideal candidate for this role should possess expertise in SAP MM, AP and FI modules and leverage this knowledge to design and develop sustainable solutions that meet customer requirements. The incumbent must also have experience with complex ERP implementations and interfaces, as well as experience with software development best practices, including defining requirements, system design and quality assurance, within a defined Software Development Life Cycle methodology. Familiarity with application development and deployment life cycle methodologies such as ASAP, in-depth business process knowledge in the areas of direct and indirect procurement and knowledge and understanding of the functionalities of Ariba for non-stock purchasing and integration points between corporate systems and regional SAP systems is preferred. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in verbal and written modes.
