Technoloigist, Health Monitoring

Responsibilities Responsible for conducting microbiologic, parasitologic, hematologic and anatomic examinations of laboratory rodents and rabbits. This person will apply aseptic technique to both routine and situation¬specific diagnostic collection of bacteriology specimens, will collect and process specimens, including blood and tissue, and will identify protozoan and metazoan parasites based on their morphology.  Rapidly-evolving diagnostic services require an individual with laboratory experience who is team oriented, attentive to detail with good communication and organizational skills.  This position may require overtime and some weekend work. Qualifications

Associates degree in the Biological Sciences with 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of both education and experience is required. Knowledge of GLPs and computer applications a plus.  Bachelor of Science preferred. 

We will take recent College garduates with a Biology degree with no experience and train the person.
