Due to the tremendous growth our Client is experiencing, they have an IMMEDIATE need for a Territory Manager based out of Sarasota, FL. This is a start-up division with lots of growth potential. The Territory Manager will be calling on Neurologists and General Practitioners.The purpose of this position is to develop the objectives, strategies and programs for sales activities at the national and regional levels. The Territory Manager works with the Regional Sales Manager to develop national and regional strategies and sales tactics for sales representatives in addition to the following:> Assists in preparation of business plans, forecast, sales force analytics and competitive market data analysis to ensure effective planning for current and future years> Works closely with Contract Sales Organization to ensure quality execution of national and regional strategies> Actively engage in sales rep hiring process> Develop the knowledge and skills of the Sales Representatives through training programs> Monitors progress of each district in meeting and exceeding sales plans and forecasts> Operates as Field Sales Representative during pilots > Implement sales and marketing programs to support plans for U.S. growth in a pilot district> Responsible for meeting quarterly sales goal for the pilot district> Works closely with Marketing to develop branded messaging materials for physician audience> Daily entry of call plan information > Actively plan and route targeting via the use of company call plan> Follow metrix as issued for field sales organization.Required: > Bachelors degree > At least 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical field salesPreferred:> 2+ years additional work in sales/account management> Industry Knowledge – good understanding of the nutritional supplement and pharmaceutical industries and OTC product distribution process Knowledge and Skills:> Sales Techniques – good understanding of sales methods, tools and concepts (e.g., sales promotions, cross-selling, sales-force training and development, etc.)> Strategic Implementation – Ability to implement the sales programs, gain commitment from Healthcare Provider to recommend product.> Communication – Ability to communicate ideas, data both verbally and written, persuasively and appropriately> Management – Ability to set priorities, develop workflow processes, and manage staff> Ability to handle multiple tasks and commit to deadlines.Those qualified and interested should email their resume as a Word attachment to rdunn@salesconsultants.org to be considered for this IMMEDIATE OPENING.
